His natural charm and cheeky, observational style have already seen him make an impact on the UK comedy scene, winning the Komedia New Comedian Of The Year Award 2020 and making it to the London final of the BBC New Comedy Awards in 2021.

Lara Ricote (MX)

Lara’s a twenty something year old comedian turned storyteller working in Amsterdam. She’s equal halves Mexican, American, and Venezuelan and equally as confused as you are about it. But telling stories helps. After studying political theory, Lara found the stage and began to use it to deal with the inescapability of the tiny tiny role she plays in history. She realized there’s something momentous in having agency in the narratives of tomorrow. So she does comedy and tells stories, and does sketches, and news shows, and she teaches stand up comedy, and she does improv even though no one is asking her to.

Dinesh Nathan(UK)

After winning several gong shows, Dinesh won South Coast Comedian Of The Year and was a finalist at the Komedia New Act competition and the coveted Leicester Mercury Comedian Of The Year competition. In 2022 Dinesh appeared on BBC 3’s New Comedian of the Year awards and Comedy Central Live. With a mix of high-spirited delivery and sarcastic, self-deprecating viewpoint, this is a club-ready act, bulletproof in its relentless fusillade.

Abby Wambaugh (MC of the night) (DK/US)

American comedian, writer and improviser Abby Wambaugh made herself known on the UK comedy circuit by becoming a finalist in the 2021 Funny Women Stage Awards. She won the 2020 and 2022 Nordvest Improv Festival Maestro competitions. In 2022 Abby opened for Sofie Hagen’s Denmark tour dates and was shortlisted for the 2022 BBC New Comedy Awards. In 2023 she was chosen for the Pleasance comedy reserve at the Edinburgh Fringe. She regularly hosts and performs in comedy shows in Copenhagen and the UK and co-hosts one of the top podcasts about life in Denmark, Coping in Copenhagen.

[5
1074,1071,1072,1069,1073,1070,1068,1067
post-1430","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-underholdning","tag-aalborg-kongres-kultur-center","tag-abby-wambaugh","tag-bremen-teater","tag-dinesh-nathan","tag-drivhuset","tag-lara-ricote","tag-michael-akadiri","tag-the-comedy-store
["GET
